Southwestern Spaghetti
Ingredients
1 pound – ground beef ( I use 80/20)
1 link – Italian sausage
1 cup – beef broth
1 medium – onion
crushed garlic – I use about 4 gloves
1 medium – chopped tomato
1/2 teaspoon – garlic power
1/2 teaspoon – onion power
1/2 teaspoon – coriander
1/2 teaspoon – paprika
1/2 teaspoon – basil
1/2 teaspoon – thyme
1 tablespoon – chili power
1 teaspoon – cumin
2 teaspoons – tomato bouillon
1/2 tablespoon – beef bouillon
1/8 cup – sun dried tomatoes chopped with juice from jar
1 can – tomato sauce
1 cup – beef broth
1 tablespoon – Worcestershire sauce
Directions
– Brown hamburger, Italian sausage and onion
– When almost brown add crushed garlic low heat so garlic does not burn
– Once meat is no longer pink; drain and put in crock pot
– Add all the rest of ingredients
Cook for at least 8 hours on low or high on 4
I took lid off half way thru.
I have been cutting down on the carbs I eat so I replace the pasta with steamed cauliflower.
